WELCOME
Message from the Dean of Students
I take this chance to greet you all and wishing you a very prosperous and Happy new year 2024.
I take this opportunity to congratulate the new student governing body (SEKUSA 2023-2024) who were inaugurated to office on 17th November 2023 after a successful election. I thank God for the role to serve the university as Dean of Students, where my sole role is to oversee all welfare matters affecting students as entrusted to the office according to the South Eastern Kenya university Statutes. I take this chance to appreciate all the student leaders that I have worked with in the past who have been visionary, cooperative, hardworking, and peaceful. As SEKU & SEKUSA, we are progressing well and thriving by God’s grace and always optimistic to be the best always. To my beloved students, I believe together we can move forward for the betterment of the future if all factors are held constant; may peace be our fore goal as a body of students and love be the basis and motherhood of our unity. Furthermore, I always trust and believe inclusivity is the root of solving misunderstandings in other words I would say nothing about us without US is for US! To add in every organization cohesion builds a foundation for the success and achievement of objectives of that organization. I, therefore, hope that if unity is our pillar, then as an institution we can move and achieve greatness.
May God bless SEKU and SEKUSA.
